No cosigner is required to be approved for a card and you earn 5|cash back on qualified purchases at supermarkets, gas stations, drugstores, utilities (including cable) and convenience stores for the first six months, and 1|cash back afterwards. You also earn 1|cash back on all purchases as well as up to 2|on rotating categories including apparel, hotels and restaurants when you enroll. No annual fee is charged.

Citi ThankYou Preferred Rewards Card. You earn 5 ThankYou points for every $1 spent on purchases at drugstores, supermarkets and gas stations for the first twelve months and 1 point per $1 thereafter for all purchases. You can claim a $100 gift card for 10,000 bonus ThankYou points earned with $500 in purchases within three months after opening your account. There are no restrictions on the amount of points you can earn and points can be redeemed for travel rewards, merchandise, cash and gift cards among others. The intro period for 0|APR on balance transfers and purchases is 12 months after which the regular variable APR is 12.99|to 22.99|and there is no annual fee. An excellent credit score is required to apply. This is one of the more generous low interest credit cards rewards programs in the market.
