Authentic NBA jerseys have been a staple of fan merchandise. This has been the case for decades and the upcoming NBA season is no exception. Collectors of NBA jerseys are getting so worked up with excitement as NBA teams start to announce more details regarding the latest improvements in their team uniforms. However, some teams are still keeping their silence about the latest design changes, keeping fans and collectors alike on the alert. The following is a summary of the latest changes in NBA jerseys for the upcoming season:

Charlotte Bobcats. The Bobcats have made some small revisions on their logo portfolios for the approaching season. There will be no NASCAR throwbacks this time around, which will be replaced with a jersey patch to commemorate it. In addition, the Bobcats are most likely to showcase an ABA throwback uniform but the details are still under lock and key. On the upside, it is said that the throwbacks will be a real visual treat.

Chicago Bulls. The Bulls have announced that they will be donning their red road uniforms for their home game on Valentines Day.

Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs have announced that they will be using a new CavFanatic design for a number of games this year but further details are still to be disclosed.

Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies looks like they will be featuring an ABA Memphis Tams throwback for the upcoming season. Sensing a return of the mismatched jersey and shorts? Who knows?

Miami Heat. The Heat's black on black jerseys were a hit during the 2004 season, as indicated by impressive merchandise sales. These jerseys are made from the old nylon dazzle fabric instead of the current mesh fabric. So far, the Heat hinted that these uniforms will see action on six (6) significant home games.

Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets will be showcasing their Mardi Gras-inspired purple, green, and gold jerseys for six (6) succeeding games from Feb. 10 to Feb. 21.

Utah Jazz. The Utah Jazz team will be donning a new green alternate uniform, reminiscent of a set the team wore about 30 years ago for their opening home game. So far, fan feedback has been very positive.

Sacramento Kings. The Sacramento Kings will be wearing a new black alternate jersey for the upcoming season. However, fans have been pointing out the clash between the front chest script and the back font.

New York Knicks. The Knicks will be removing the black trim from their primary logo.

Los Angeles Lakers. There will be no key changes for the upcoming season but fans are beginning to show interest in the new Lakers uniform design.
